Colin McRae: DIRT

Fasten your seat belts and get ready for a rough ride because Codemasters, publisher of Colin McRae: DIRT for the PS3 and Xbox 360, have released some brand new screenshots for you to admire. It's a welcome break from the lower quality graphics of current generation consoles when you get to look at some of the beautiful games being developed for next generation machines. Some people may not like the price of next generation console gaming, but with stunning graphics like these coming through the net of concept to reality, the argument over whether gaming is an Art form seems winnable only one way.

Codemasters are artists in their own way, using pixels, real-life cars and a whole load of DIRT to make their point. When you're immersed in the high speed country lanes, blazing past trees at over 100MPH, with the wind in your hair, dirt in your face and the adrenaline pumping; just remember to listen to your co-pilot, one of the trademarks of the Colin McRae series for being so life-like. Your co-pilot will guide you through the Amazon if need be, with a sharp left, over crest, hard right; you'll get to the end of the stage in no time. Remember to check out some of the in-depth information we have on this game before you drown in your own sweat looking at the screens.

If you can't do the real thing, then Colin McRae: DIRT has to be the closest experience to ever being on that Rally circuit  by the spring-summer of 2007. Some of these screens appear more realistic than TV!

If Forza 2 doesn't come close to looking or surpassing this I will be dissapointed on the graphical side of things.

Oh come on guys, its the photoshop masters.

You can tell which screens are real because they look crap.

Look at the incar one, they had to make everything too blury just to hide the fact it looks crappy.

codemasters at it again.
