Brutal Legend official website goes live |
Ó
Even if you're not a fan of Tim Schafer who worked on Grim Fandango and Psychonauts, the sound of headbangers and roadies going at it with guitars and amps should pique your interest. Double Fine Productions obviously thought the concept was good, so it began working on Brutal Legend (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) under Schafer's lead. No idea what it's all about? The game's official website recently went up, so you might want to check it out. While we're still not certain if the actual game will melt your faces off with strong heavy metal, Brutal Legend's online gig sure is oozing with style. Off the bat, you'll see the star Eddie Riggs on the stage and you can move closer to him by clicking on the crowd that spout hilarious lines.
The Live Gig page is where you'll find Brutal Legend's trailer, while insane art can be downloaded from the Backstage. Another cool touch is how flames shoot out when you scroll your mouse wheel, and sweet music also plays in the background. See it to believe it by clicking on the "via" link below.
