Brash Entertainment drops SAW videogame |
Ó
Remember when Brash Entertainment had to cut loose almost all of its upcoming titles save for Six Flags Fun Park and Saw? Well, it looks like the company has decided to place all of its hopes on Six Flags Fun Park somehow becoming a bestselling title.Horror news website Bloody Disgusting reports that according to sources, Brash has dropped SAW from its roster. The game is reportedly nearing completion, though (voice-over work has already started), so it may not have such a hard time finding a new publisher.
Semi-interesting thing: SAW is still listed as one of Brash's games in the company website, but the game's official site seems to have gone offline. SAW was originally slated for an October 2009 release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Hey, I guess they completely forgot the fact that a lot of people who watch Saw actually own these consoles. That seems to have been too far stretched, so let's just cancel the game! This kiddie game will definitely sell more!
I'm sure the Saw game had exponentially higher productions costs. Didn't we just read a few days back that something like 9 our of 10 games never make a profit? Assuming that Six Flags Fun Park has minimal production costs, it's more than likely the safer bet for a company facing financial struggles.
i hope this game is scary llike Condemned
but... its probably not gunna be.
you know how games suck
when they have a movie about it and they decide to make it a game.
This is gunna be disney to me.
Jus stop and drop Saw 6 tha movie
c'mon tha series is not even finished
i dont wanna beat tha game in like 2hrs and then have to buy the second one.
Did you read the article? The game has been canceled.
What do you expect from a guy who spells "the" as "tha"?
I really hope the game is really like manhunt were you get to sneak some kills or actually try to find some clues around the room. NO TIME MISSIONS I hate that
