Borderlands will be in retail before October ends

It's not exactly a firm release date yet, but the release window for Gearbox Software's upcoming sci-fi shooter-RPG Borderlands has been narrowed down.

According to Shacknews, publisher Take-Two Interactive has said that the game would arrive no later than October 31, 2009. Well, at least it's better than the late 2009 release window it used to have.

Borderlands will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
