Blu-Ray mistakes - Image 1Don't worry. This isn't a PS3 or Blu-Ray bashing post. This is simply a "Someone forgot to inform someone else about glaring errors in Public Relations" post. SurferPR notes some rather large inconsistencies on the Blu-Ray advocacy website with regard to the kind of games that are out now for the PlayStation 3.

If you visit the Gaming portion of the Blu-Ray website, you'll actually see a pretty nice description of one of the things that makes the Blu-Ray a potential winner in the households: games. The problem arises when you take a look at the latter portion of their write-up.

They list a bunch of titles which they say are CURRENTLY available for the PlayStation 3. If you can't see it in the above picture, allow us to list some of the more notable names which they say are out now.
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • Final Fantasy PS3
  • Killzone PS3
  • Metal Gear Solid 4
None of those games are on disc, unless you count the handful of unfinished copies being made by different production companies as we speak. They also mention Tekken PS3, which could also refer to the PlayStation Store version of Tekken or the unreleased Tekken 6.

Sigh... hopefully, they fix this soon. It's not exactly good PR to keep bad information up on a website.

Whoa...Sony telling outright lies to gain business? That's a first. I never would have expected that! Sure, they're talking about possibly adding rumble to the PS3 controller after saying they can't because it would interfere with the motion sensing; and sure, they claimed you're required to buy a wireless controller, HD DVD drive, and various other nonsense to enjoy the Xbox 360; and sure, despite the obvious last-minute addition of motion sensing to the aforementioned controller as revealed by IGN, they said Nintendo had nothing to do with the idea; but still, Sony lying? What is this world coming to?

the site has nothing to do with sony

get your facts straight

they couldnt implement rumble into ps3 controllers because of patent issues

and yes you do need to buy a seperate HD-DVD for xbox360

nintendo probably had alot to do with sonys implementation of sixaxis but who cares

sheesh

Aces in the Palm, when a website is named

Blu ray.com is sony's blu ray promoting propoganda site. All the businesses that have a lot of money invested in blu ray run it so it's the absolute worst source of information there is. It's doubtful they care about accuracy as long as it says only good things about blu ray.

Also, Aces In The Palm is a dumbass.

If they're lying and trying to give the PS3 and blu ray an unfair advantage, I have every right to be here. Also, if you're too stupid to realize blu ray.com was set up by sony, you deserve to be called a dumbass.
