Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW II developed by Ubisoft is looking more enticing with each new bit of information the company decides to release. In the video we're about to show, there is a small PIP (Picture-In-Picture) which shows the SIXAXIS control pad being used to control the plane.

The graphics are good for a game such as this one but we believe the use (while expected) of the controller makes the game simply amazing. To top it all off, if the music score in-game is anything like what we heard in the trailer then you can be sure that this is one flier that will be climbing on the top of the ranks. It's just around the corner since Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW II is expected to be released this March. Till then, you can watch the video and imagine the possibilities.

EH

I don't really care for this game. I think the Ace Combats for ps2 look better... and the controller is kind of.... blah. cause usually i'll slouch in my chair or bed or sofa or what have you, and then the plane is always flying sideways, which isn't good for landing :P. But no seriously. it's a game I wish I could have rented first. Although I'll need to give it another try since I didn't get that far into it. First?

lulz

I guess you will never be able to own the Wii as you can't turn motion sensing off but I'm sure you can do it on this game and any other PS3 game but except for a person so lazy like you I don't know why anyone would do that its a great way to get into the game.

Hmmm...

Seems like it controlled pretty well with the Sixaxis. The controller seems well suited for flying games. I may give this game a look.

try it again, this time play longer

I really enjoyed this game. Maybe you should get a few levels into it before making a decision about the entire game. The tilt controls got annoying and I ended up turning them off, and the graphics looked solid except for ground vehicles. Overall a fun game. Voice chat in multiplayer would have made it a buy instead of a rent.

@antaeus

actually I have a wii also, but I don't have any like racing or flying or... any games where I have to hold the wiimote sideways, except for the VC games. @ant right on, i'm gonna work on some other games first, then I'll go back to it.

I agree with Lair and Warhawk being better.

I liked this game. The sixaxis did get annoying after a while, but it is really fun to try and get some crazy dogfights going with the tilt controls. Good plane selection and some pretty decent graphics too.
