BladeStorm: The Hundred Years' War Battlefield Massacre gameplay video |
Ó
Clank clank clank, smash, neigh, slash, cue death scream. While Koei has always been known to churn out great-looking titles that render gajillions of enemy soldiers getting killed onscreen, it's to note that BladeStorm: The Hundred Years' War not only looks the part of you being in a war, but also sounds like it. There's a lot of ambient noise that makes you feel that you're actually in the war, where a lot of things are happening at once.

i didn't really like the game from playing the demo..not my type of game. i got a combo of 64 (think that was my highest) anyone get higher?
I got a 91 hit combo, but nothing higher. I love the game. With my 20-30 troops, I annihilated an enemy base...around 180 soldiers total. Only getting hit 5 times. I'm SO buying Bladestorm..
aaaaaarrrgghhh!!
looks dreadfully dull...
I'm sick of these games that are supposed to be "EPIC." In actuality, they're just big open fields, with hundreds of the most stupid soldiers in the world that don't even really try to kill you. And shouldn't Koei be able to make a game with decent collision detection yet? When you run into someone in a game... They shouldn't slide around as if on ice. Where's the friction? Also, if a company is going to make a "war" game, they might as well have blood. Why should killing be okay if there's no blood? Why am I so bitter?
