For those who find themselves still itching for more details despite the videos and info we've been bringing you lately, you'll be glad to know that Midway Games has just released a whole bunch of new goodies for their upcoming FPS, BlackSite: Area 51 (Xbox360, PS3), including the official fact sheet and a batch of spanking new screens. So let's get this show on the road and bring you the fact sheet:
- Online Multiplayer Modes - Death- Match, Team-Death-Match and Capture-the-Flag. All-new, unique modes will also be available in the form of Human vs. Reborn mode and the new Siege mode, where teams try to capture each otherÂ’s squad members on the way to controlling territory.
- Drive, Shoot and Ride - Drive the latest military HMMWVs, ATVs and commandeer civilian vehicles, or take a seat in the gunnerÂ’s position in helicopter raids against enemy positions.
- Fully Interactive Environments - In the ultimate mission-based, player-driven FPS game, take your Squad down any one of multiple paths to solve problems and defeat enemies. Strategically use cover points and blow away others in huge levels where nearly everything you see is destructible.
- One-Button Squad Command - As Squad Leader, you have the power, the authority and the duty to command your troops to perform a variety of complex actions, including planting C-4, sniping an enemy in the guard tower, or taking control of various vehicles. Players will also have the ability to control all squad commands with the press of a single button, without the hassle of clunky menus and/or multiple button taps.

- X360: 10 million sold
- PS3: 1.8m
- Xbox: 24m
- PS2: 100m
Only 1 year has been elapsed, and MS sold 10m X360s when they have only sold about 24m Xboxes in 5 years.
I have read many different analyses written by those people who research and make statistics; and between the PS3s and the X360s; currently...
(1) MS is offering much better quality support for the 3rd party developers (service).
(2) X360’s developer kits are much easier and more convenient to use (user friendly).
(3) X360 hardware is much easier to make games on (less complex hardware components).
(4) MS had 1 year head start.
- Hardware architecture is much more known to developers.
- 5 times more number of X360s was sold
- 5 times more profit for developers.
- MS can cut the price of X360 by $100 in the near future while Sony can’t do that for another year.
- Unmatched number of more games (above $50) has been released (X360: about 350 games, PS3: about 50 so far)
- Xbox & PS3 both were released year(s) later than PS2 & X360; Xbox & PS3 were more expensive, bigger, more powerful and less diverse (had less number of games).
(5) So far, so many PS3 exclusive top quality games now moved on to X360 (multi-platform).
(6) X360 has considerably better online support (PS3’s online service only has bare minimums).
(7) X360 console is $200 cheaper.
* Moreover comparing PS3s and X360s is like comparing dogs and cats. Dogs (PS3s) are smarter, more expensive to buy, more expensive to maintain, living longer (longer lifespan), more powerful, bigger, faster, more useful, et cetera than cats (X360s).
* There’re about 300 X360 games (above $50) released so far. God of War 2 for the PS2 looks even better than most X360 games except for some popular ones like lost planet or Gears of War. Than means God of War 2 is better than 295 X360 games. 98% of all X360 games are worst than a game which runs on the PS2 which was released in 2000 (7 years ago). Sigh, Microsoft. Way to go!

- on a more relevant note, this game looks kinda kewl, I enjoyed the first area51 game on the last gen consoles.
-oh! Also, I wanna add, QJ should seriously consider removing posting comment privileges from non-registered users. If they really care enuff to give their thought's they'll register and if they abuse it, its as simple as banning their account.
