BioWare finally comments on Mass Effect 2 PS3 listings -- with 'no comment' |

Retailers have been listing Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC) for the PS3 the past couple of days. First, after a long while of quiet and calm, Australian retailer GAME broke the peace by listing the said game for Sony's console. A day later, the same thing came up on a Russian retailer's site. So what does BioWare have to say about all of this?A very cute, "That we don't comment on rumors. :-)" Seriously. Patrick Weekes put that smiley on his note in the official BioWare page. Way to go for killing the flames... not. If anything, this only pushes the speculation further that the game will indeed be coming over to the PS3. After all, they're not denying it at all, they're just keeping mum about it.
I smell an official announcement coming 'round the corner any minute now.

mass effect is like one of the only 360 titles im actually interest in
The first Mass Effect was one of the reasons I wanted to add a 360 to my collection. I really hope they release the first one for the PS3 also. That, would be bomb!
that's awesome xD I like the title you made for this news. I'd love to see Mass Effect on PS3... just to laugh at the xbox fanboys. But i heard the game is pretty good, so I'd probably even pick it up :)
Hopefully they will release 1 & 2 for the PS3:-D
I can ME2 a big system pusher. I loved the first one, and this is one of the games I'm been looking forward, even more then Uncharted 2. I recommend everyone buying the first one and if you it, buying the second one, too. Definitely a great game, whether on PS3 or Xbox 360.

Then you would know a lot of microsoft game studio employees worked on it as well as bioware so ME 1 in out of the question from what i understand the same dev team is being used for 2 so yet again microsoft game studios is prolly going to make its presence on this title by no means am i bashing the ps3 (my system of choice) but i do think this will remain an exclusive. ME 1 is one of the very few reasons I own a 360, rest of them are Rare :p.
Mass Effect is the reason I bought a 360... if it wasn't for ME I prob wouldn't own one.
I have to disagree with you there kemosabe. I'm not at all saying your wrong, you do make valid points but only from one side of the coin. I 'believe' that perhaps with PS3 sales increasing, plus the price cut, increased game exposure, Sony blowing the dev team, or the progression of the PS3 in general might have made some developers more interested in becoming part of both markets. In this crappy economy, I wouldnt be suprised if they felt the works already done and they could possibly make 2x more just by doing a port. However, if it does come... I believe it will be later then the 360, PC versions. Just my opinion.
