BioShock to be a trilogy; movie to be released with third game |

Think you were excited when you heard that BioShock (PS3, 360, PC) will have a sequel? Well, here's more good news! Take-Two Interactive's chairman Strauss Zelnick has let slip (probably not accidentally) that the franchise will have a third installment.
He was awfully vague, and if it was indeed intentional that he let it slip, he's an awful tease. He revealed this information when he was asked about a release date for the BioShock movie. Zelnick responded:
It's unlikely that the picture would be released to coincide with BioShock 2. It would be more likely that it would be released coincidentally with BioShock 3. That also remains to be seen.
He adds that BioShock 2 is due sometime from the period of August to October of 2009. If we have to wait that long for the sequel, it'll still be some time before we actually get any more hints for BioShock 3. Now we know we also have long to wait for the movie as well.
What a tease.

Great, another ***** Game originated Movie
this news is sooo old it isnt even funny.
Why are they going to ruin Bioshock by making a movie of it?
*Crosses fingers and hopes Uwe Boll comes no where near this movie*
But I really dont care about in game xmb's i just want my ps3 bioshock before they change their damned minds again!!
Oooold times two.
While I don't care about the PS3 version (because I already own the PC version with Big Daddy) I think that other PS3 owners out there that have not experienced it yet would love to get this - but it's not up to Sony to push it out so hopefully we'll get in-game XMB and Bioshock!
My next hope is that we get a multi-platform release of Bioshock 2 though at the the same time (not this crap like Alone in the Dark - that's just going to make me buy the PC version instead then because I don't like waiting!).
I love game movies. You ever read a book then watch the movie? That's why the average person doesn't like the movie version.
However, Bioshock would be VERY HARD or rather VERY EXPENSIVE to pull off in a movie adaptation.
If true, I hope they dump tons of movie into it.
