Bioshock Confirmed for PS3? |
Ó
Bioshock is a first-person RPG set beneath the waves in a utopia called Rapture, which once contained the brainiest people on the planet, before a civil war occurred and now contains fierce, desperate scavengers. Your character wonders around taking on mini-missions or scavenging for parts and bio-materials. Mixing a spine-chilling setting, sci-fi themes, RPG elements and a deep storyline with this first-person action, Bioshock is already a highly anticipated title!
If this turns out to be true, Bioshock for the PS3 will be hitting the shelves in March 2007. Check out the scans below.

ill just say this: I think its fantastic that 3rd party western developers are thinking outside the box in terms of creativity. This and stranglehold have ass kickery written all over them.
having the unreal 3 code to work with dont hurt :)
Not so sure about "thinking outside the box". sounds like Deus Ex, pretty much exactly.
umm... I thought this game was LLLOONNNGGGG ago confirmed for PS3, XBox and PC Just XBox is getting first and PS3 and PC several months later
it was deemed 360 and PC exclusive.... now it's coming to PS3... nowdays, every day, I get another reason to buy a ps3. it's a change in the wind that I enjoy
That PS magazine is like 3 or 4 months old now, they really are slow aren't they?
in your face 360 nubs AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHHA SCRWED 'AAW MAN AT LEAST WE GOT BIOSHOCK YOU PS3 N0000BS' YEAH RIGHT AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Jeeze everything was going just fine until post #7.
that looked promising to me, but now that's coming to PS3 there's not much of a reason to bother with the 360 (well, ok maybe Halo 3 multiplayer). I can't wait to try this game out.
whos taking games now. first f.e.a.r., then that rpg game( I forgot what it what called) now this. but we still need more. take them all. even halo. sike f hellno 3
seriously post 7 is making ps3 admirers look like jerks
.-.
Websites like Gamespot have reported it coming to PS3, PC and XBox 360 since E3 2006! The developers have never said it was 360/PC exclusive.
The reason this game sounds like Deus Ex is because Deus Ex borrowed heavily from the game that Bioshock's originated from. To make more sense, manyof the makers of System Shock (came out in 1993) went on to form Irrational Games after their company (Looking Glass Tech) was bought by EA. Bioshock is the "spiritual successor" to System Shock. Deus Ex borrowed many ideas from System Shock Good to see more games going multi-platform, nothings more frustrating than never getting to play a game because it never came to your system
