BioShock 2 will have female version of Big Daddy? |

We might have seen the last of Big Daddy, but BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams (Xbox 360, PS3) may have something more sinister. Big Sisters. I hope none of you imagined Big Daddy with a bra just then.
Anyway, this rumor comes from Kotaku, whose sources say that the BioShock sequel will have a "sleek, female" version of Big Daddy, which will be an "amazonian version [...] wearing similar, though svelter, gear." According to the source, the Big Sister is suggested to look like the doll we saw in the trailer, the one being held by the girl. It looks like a Big Daddy, but it has some minor differences.
Further description of what could be the Big Sister comes from the teaser site for BioShock 2, where a fictional story was released about 7-year-old Maura Clune being kidnapped by something that had "incredible speed," and was "thin, above average height, and wore some kind of 'red light.'" Sounds awfully un-Big Daddyish to me.
I'm so glad they didn't dub the doll Big Momma coz then I'd imagine Martin Lawrence under all that armor.

You know... I've got Bioshock2 in the back of my mind, just simmering. I know it's there, I know it's coming and I'll be flipping when it does... but for the most part it's just been simmering... and yet with such a small bit of news like this - it flares up and I'm giddy.
I really really really hope it hits the PS3 same time as the other versions as I'd like to play it on my PS3. I played the first on my PC but had to scale down some things to have it play smoother. It looked great... but I'd much rather the experience on my big TV, surround sound and Dualshock3 in hand.
Gawd damn 2009 is a great year for games.
I'm skeptical to think that the doll's the big sister,as it just looks like a bunch of stuff put together (baseball for the head, corkscrew on the right arm, possibly thumbtacks for eyes. I don't know. It just looks funny.
I think the big sisters _are_ the girl holding the doll. They're not going to have the drill bit for a hand stuff, didn't anyone notice in the trailer the menacing way in which the girl moved before the model of rapture emerged from the sand.
That I would believe.
I noticed she was tweaking a little. Couldn't tell if that was suppose to be her or the wind.
However, I wouldn't call her a girl. Judging by the length of her legs alone compared to the doll, she's closer to an adult then a child.
I still say Rapture is becoming "infectious". Spreading to land....
