With BioShock released on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3, chances are the sequel would be getting the same platform releases. Previously, 2K Games already confirmed the sequel for one or two platforms, but getting reaffirmation never hurt anybody.

Besides, there's that whole "Oh, the teaser for Sea of Dreams was shown in the PS3 version, maybe the sequel will be PS3-exclusive" notion. Pish-posh, thinking like that won't give you anything but a ticket straight to flame nation. The HD video of the teaser trailer for BioShock 2 is already available as DLC on XBL. We hear it's also supposedly heading to PSN.

Sealing the deal, a representative of 2K Games contacted Gamespot to say that "BioShock 2 is destined for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms." What the rep failed to mention though is if the sequel will be getting a simultaneous release across those three platforms. For that, we'd have to wait for more updates.

And because some of us can't stand shakey cam footage on YouTube, here's an HD vid of the teaser trailer:

» Cool Teazer

Just watched last night off Live and it looked very very nice. The Little Sister and Big Daddy doll were pretty crisp looking.

... Made me wanna un-lend my copy of Bioshock so I could play it again.
