Here we have - yes, lemme spell it out for you - F-I-V-E, five videos mapping out parts of the first few minutes of the demo: from the intro, to seamless battles, cut scenes of cinematic quality, gorgeous music, lots of explosions, aaand a robotic behemoth boss.
Pretty much most of what we've seen in screenshots, scans, and trailers for the past two years can be seen here. Good stuff, good stuff.
So what is it with Square Enix and scorpion-like first bosses? This reminds me of FF7's Guard Scorpion.

Also apparently like Last Remnant your party always heals after battle. If you look after each battle the HP is always the same.
The gun for some weird reason does like no damage, doing only 6 or 7 damage each shot. Looks like its just to keep the chain going.
And the final clip, no idea why but two of your party has ??? health even though it doesn't seem to matter since the only one he attacks is the guy with HP. Also don't seem to be able to control the ??? HP guys.

I wish they would just localize the PS3 version first and release it as a sort of timed exclusive outside of Japan. I hate having to wait longer for a game I've been anticipating for years because SquareEnix decided at the last second to make a 360 version as well.

If this game was still a PS3 exclusive, we would STILL have to wait a long time after the game is released in Japan before we get the English language version (look back at previous FF games and forums were full of gamers complaining about the long wait).
Also, SquareEnix may have announced it late, but I doubt the 360 version was a last minute decision. The game is running on a multi-format game engine called Crystal Tools (previously known as the White Engine), so I think this has been in the works for a long time.
One interesting point, because it's running on a multi-format game engine, porting the game to 360 would be relatively easy. So since it would have been delayed for multi-language support anyway, the 360 may not add much, if anything, to the overall delay for NA and Europe.
Let's see what happens.

It's no different than the Unreal Engine on 360, PS3 or PC. Although it will not happen, how long do you think it would take EPIC to port Gears of War 2 to PS3 if they wanted to? I bet they can have it up and running on PS3 in weeks, and after that they'll be optimizing it for ideal performance. That's the advantage of using a multi-format game engine.

But the game will not be done until the English voice work and subtitles are done, and that's what has always delayed the FF games for everywhere outside of Japan.
The 360 might add a little more to the delay, it might not, but the delay would have still existed if FFXIII was still a PS3 exclusive.

Where have you been hiding? FFXIII is coming to both PS3 and 360 (announced last year at E3). It's not a PS3 exclusive anymore. FFXIII-versus is a PS3 exclusive.
