BFBC 2: Vietnam is going to be more hardcore - DICE |

If you're a huge fan of the Battlefield: Bad Company franchise, then there's something for you to look forward to, most definitely, in BFBC2: Vietnam. According to DICE designer Gustav Halling, it's going to "feel more hardcore."
According to him, they wanted to "create a bit more of an infantry focus" for Vietnam, despite the fact that they will have large, vehicle-driven maps as well. As for the gameplay, "It is a bit different," he says. "Since only sniper rifles have scopes in this expansion, it feels a bit more hardcore. Everyone runs around with ironsights, which makes it a bit harder, but everyone is playing on the same premises, so I think that's cool."
It was also interesting to note that Halling actually admitted to never having played the old Battlefield Vietnam at all. "I still played Battlefield 1942 on a serious level when the old Vietnam released. Some people like me didn't make the move to Vietnam, because competition-wise it was still Battlefield 1942 that was the game to play. So it is exciting now that I have the chance to experience Vietnam afterwards, so to speak."
And hopefully this time, they will be able to make BFBC 2 Vietnam as "the game to play".

If anything they should just release a more diverse set of maps or remade maps for BBC2
Battlefield= strategy and teamwork you win as a whole not just as a single unit
