Complaints about graphical glitches and game-breaking bugs have so far hounded the Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) experience, but according to a Bethesda community manager, a patch for all of the game's versions is forthcoming.

"We are currently working on a patch for all three platforms," posted a community manager on Bethesda's official forums. "When I've got more details, I'll let everyone know." It's not much, but at least we now know Bethesda's on the job.

Personally, I haven't really encountered a lot of bad bugs in the game, aside from one annoying game-breaker that occurred near the end when *semi-spoiler* Liberty Prime kept getting stuck on the way to the Jefferson Memorial. What about you guys? What bugs do you want fixed in the patch?

Every so often the game will start to "skip" as it's trying hard to load stuff from the HDD - simply stopping and letting it load for a few secs clears that up.

Umm, I've noticed missing and misplaced or delayed audio at times.

I did notice prime glitching up and not doing anything some times.

Had the game crash back to XMB and crash the system itself at least once each.

Lastly, weird stuff will happen to the physics, slow loading, audio not syncing with text, skipping audio etc - which usually goes away if you quit via xmb and then reload it.

Ha, sounds like a lot, but it happens maybe 10% of the time - all that crap I mentioned.

The single most annoying problem of them all - When the game freezes for as long as there is a notification displayed on the screen. I normally avoid this by signing out of the PSN, but I shouldn't have to. Only other thing was a ridiculous texture bug on one of the large bridges where it looked all torn and black patches were spread across the area.

On the 360 version.

Same loading thing happens on disc on 360, just locks up loading a list of items and stuff. Comes back sometimes after as long as 3 mins. Installing it to the HDD seems to stop it on 360

I think it froze on me once in the 60 hours Ive played. Not bad

Only real programming error Ive found is not being able to repair the T51B power armor (best armor in the game) with regular power armor, which you are supposed to be able to do. Pretty much makes it useless once it starts to wear since no NPC can repair over like 75%, and that's only if you have high barter and invest in them. Otherwise most can't do over 54%

# No problem!MrSpud 2008-11-29 12:50
I played about 80 hours and got 2 crashes, both the same when you use the railway riffle with VATS, the last shot sometime crashes the game, Bethesda knows about it, hopefully the patch will fix that.

Oh and the very common "suicidal" Megaton where Walter and other guys sometime dissapear or fall off the edges.

I have no complaints, my 360 is 1 month old so blame Microsoft, not Bethesda.
