Best-selling PS3 games in Japan so far, MGS4 on top |

In commemoration of PS3's second birthday, Famitsu wrote a small feature on the console's highlights, as well as a list of the PS3's best-selling titles in Japan as of November 16th, 2008.
Coming in at #1 is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, selling 671,706 since its launch.

Despite being the newest release on that chart, MGS4 has absolutely no problem leaving the competition in the dust. Haven't played Minna no Golf 5, so I don't know how that made it to top two, but I suppose the Japanese are crazy about it. World Soccer Winning Eleven 2008, on the other hand, is definitely a keeper (no pun intended).

Japanese love golf....you can look at google maps of tokyo and see a ridiculous amount of golf courses...
Also to the people above me, nice western perspective top 5's, but we are talking Japan here....guess you don't know Japanese...
Still, I am surprised none of these have sold over a million copies....that's pretty weak....

Haven't played LIlBigPlanet yet, but will prolly get it.
Also, how is Drakes Fortune? I don't know if its worth buying cuz i hear its only 5-6 hours long with no multi-player. And Assasin's Creed is another one i was wondering about...
It'd sell like pancakes.. like it did on the PSP
hotcakes. :)
Dynasty Warriors is a terrible, awful, boring, useless game, and I don't see how any sane person can enjoy it and all its god damn rehashes. The simple fact that not one but TWO of it's *****ty games are on that list sickens me
