Best Buy's PS3 midnight launch list

For you PS3 fans out there out there getting ready to once again to brave the elements, traffic jams, and fellows fans alike to get a chance at your very own unit, we've picked up some hot news.

While browsing the net, we came across some seriously juicy info on the addresses of the select Best Buy stores that will be holding a midnight launch for the PS3 come November 17. There's 18 stores in total.

Consider this an early warning, so if you don't live anywhere near these areas, now's a good time to start prepping some gas money for your PS3 hunt/roadtrip.

On a side note, it doesn't look like Best Buy's planning to hold a midnight launch for the Wii, and will instead just open up their stores an hour early (8 a.m.), on November 19.

Hmm, either they're not expecting that big a crowd (read: mob) for the Wii, or the PS3's initial launch numbers will be drawing in even more rabid reactions - maybe both? In any case, here's the list, and given just how bad it got during the pre-order season, expect this to top the previous camp-outs we've seen before. Good luck to all of you.

Looks like I'm drving along with ym friend to the one in Chapel Hill, Ohio. Only 40 minutes away. If anyone else is going to that one, reply to my post. Hope to see some people from here there. We could possibly hold each others place in line. I know I won't be getting there until 3ish p.m. school is a killer of plans. Hopefully I'm not to late, if so, I will have to pay off my aunt/uncle to wait in line for me, lol. See you there.

For those trying to interpret the Texas locations, Park Lane is in Dallas on the N Central Expressway and the Galleria is the Houston location near the galleria on the 610 loop.

Neither are near me so gas money is a must!

Hey qj, thw stores won't open at 8 AM for the wii. It says so in the article, "There won't be a midnight opening for theNintendo Wii launch, but all stores will open at 9 A.m..."

Yeah, if you are the owner of that site, nice try. It costs 6.50 to just sign up from the 16th of November until January 5th. I wouldn't pay 6.50 for a service that lasts less than two months. I could garuntee that the stock will be VERY scarce during the holiday season. Good Idea if it was free, but 6.50? Little steep for me.
