BBFC gives Modern Warfare 2 an 18-rating |

The controversial Modern Warfare 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)game has been examined and rated by the British Board of Film Classification. They have approved the game with an 18 rating in the UK.It is also reported that Infinity Ward's sequel made it unscathed and uncut after the BBFC's thorough examination. This BBFC rating marks the first 18-rating for the franchise. And what do you know, the game's finally listed as only Modern Warfare 2. No "Call of Duty" attached. Guess that makes it the final title, then.

Don't think taking the Call of Duty brand off of it is the best idea. CoD sells, but I guess people already know about it, so it won't matter much.
... and they want to distance themselves from the CoD branding in case it goes pear shaped. (ok, not likely)
they kinda want to distant themselves from Activision for threatening to pull out of PS3
why is the Board of Film Classifiers rating a video game?
Why are they still rating games?
I thought the BBFC pulled out from rating games and left it up to PEGI....
mmm if activision pulls out they pull out, unless they get another published which the can do at anytime
also i see the cod franchise going pear shape
They want to get away from Activitvision altogether. They want to be their own boss. And they also need Activision to pay for the dev fees. I also think they might want to get away to that they can make and release games how they want. Also they hate that Treyarch can use their source code and basically copy off them. Remember World at War.

and now its -18 , IW play with games not with peoples and bring Dedicated servers to PC version we will not pay to play online in your servers
