Its overseas release may have been delayed, but Hideki Kamiya, the Platinum Games team, and Sega are cooking up a little something for gamers looking forward to their action-packed opus, Bayonetta (PS3s and Xbox 360).

During Sega's "Feel Bayonetta" demo event in Japan, director Kamiya and produce Yusuke Hashimoto confirmed that a Bayonetta demo is in the works. While nothing specific has been said about a release date yet, Hasimoto revealed that they're currently "hard at work on it."

Hashimoto also added that this won't be your run-of-the-mill demo. It's been dashed with some super special sauce. According to the producer, they're making it in such a way "so that those who've already bought the game will make new discoveries if they play the demo."

I don't really get what Hashimoto meant right there (an extra level maybe?), but hey, a Bayonetta demo is great news in my book.

I would play a demo!

The game is incredibly unique and if nothing else I'll play the demo.
