Yes, it's confirmed. Battlefield 3 is indeed coming. Thanks to Electronic Arts COO John Pleasants, we finally have official word that the next iteration in the successful Battlefield franchise will indeed be happening.It was in the course of Pleasants' presentation at the William Blair Growth Stock Conference that the announcement was made. He also revealed that DICE is developing it, and that he's seen actual material of the game in development.
"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product." But before you go lining up for this game, "Of course, that's not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good."
Pleasants did not mention as to which specific platforms this game will land on.

I dunno, never played a good battlefield game, they are all riddled with bugs and anger me too much....
YES! about time, they BETTER bring out a multiplayer demo again, that ***** was funny!
They better keep in the choppers and buggies etc, and the parachutes.

Also demo plz. I could spend hours teamkilling on the BF2 demo, convincing everyone to get in the heli then plowing it into a building never got old
Me and my friend used to do stuff like that all the time on the demo, i still do it on GTA IV
