Batman: Arkham Asylum pre-order sweepstakes, high-res screenshots

GameStop has announced that their A Life in Arkham pre-order sweepstakes is now going on. The grand prize winner will get his or her mug digitized and inserted into the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) video game from Eidos Interactive and Rocksteady Studios.

To enter, just fill out the form found in the source link below. This is open only to U.S. residents who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. The contest ends October 13. You can also view the full contest rules at the source link.

We also got our hands on a few high-res screenshots of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Check 'em out below. The game is slated for release next year.

Wow this looks very freakin cool, I love the artistic theme, it gives such a dark and gritty look to it, I hope it has the brutal violence to go along with it, If you have to play as batman not wanting to kill anyone I will be very dissapointed

See the blood on the prison cell walls? Yeah, according to new ESRB guidelines definitely an M rating for that. Unless they ***** out and edit out that blood to get a T rating this just might be the first good Batman game.



On a side note I really wish they'd kept the likeness of Heath Ledger and Christian Bale. That would be really sweet. Also please make the Batsuit black. It's not been grey since the 1960s ><



Those are the only two things that might ruin the experience somewhat. Still, looks great.
