Batman ain't gonna kill, not even in Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum - Image 1

One of the things that Batman has always been adamant about is that he's never gonna kill. He won't care if he has a harder time kicking bad guy ass, as long as it heads straight to the slammer, not the morgue. In Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), the Caped Crusader still upholds his vow and there will be no clipping, smoking, or blowing anyone away (insert more killing synonyms here).

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has reached a verdict: it's rated Teen, so there's gonna be some blood spattering, but no spilling! This rating comes with a nice bonus as well - the ESRB rating reveals a few details about the game, which is more than what the publishers have told us!

Here's some of the info I've picked up:
  • Your weapons will include spikes, light beams, and "other gadgets"
  • There will be slow-mo attacks, and close-ups of damage inflcted
  • There will be rooms stained with blood (meh, but well, it's info anyway)
  • "Infected" people will be seen twitching and screaming in pain
  • Torture scenes!
  • Two female characters wear "provocative outfits that expose deep cleavage"
  • One of them "moans suggestively when she is in peril" hahahaha
  • There's gonna be some expletives and swearing
It's not from Rocksteady Studios, but hey, ESRB's credible enough, and it's a good update nonetheless.

Look! No killing!

please oh please

# Two female characters wear "provocative outfits that expose deep cleavage" # One of them "moans suggestively when she is in peril" hahahaha good god please let it be Catwoman please let it be Catwoman. Only potential females in there would be Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn or Catwoman hell i'm hoping all three of them are in there

Hmm

I've read in article about Harley Quinn's outfit... hope they don't make her out to be completely "slutty".

hmmm...

There are other options: -Batwoman -Batgirl -Oracle -Talia And there's more that I don't follow(no flame, but I more Marvel collector). I do not mind at all if they introduce new female characters. In comics, it's actually nice to see so many different female character leads/villains -it makes the story move to a different arc.

i'm a marvel fan too

and i agree more female characters do move the story a bit. I've thought of them too but see the only problem with that is talia wouldn't really be in arkham and i could see oracle there but i'm preatty sure its mostly inside the asylum and well if your in the asylum you had to be a villain so its mostly a well knowned bat villain which makes me think of the ones i said up there
