We've got screenshots and gameplay videos from Midway's upcoming video game Blacksite: Area 51 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC). The title boasts of immersive and action packed gameplay as you'll see in the videos. We see some hard first person shooter action with weapons and vehicles. First we see the player on foot, dealing with aliens with his weapon. Then we see him on a helicopter, using the chopper's machine gun to shoot at a monster called Flathead. The third video shows a scene reminiscent of the movie "Starship Troopers" wherein the player controls a turret.
Anyway, before we babble on and on, we'll leave you to watch the videos and check out the screenshots. Blacksite: Area 51, by the way, is set to invade the shelves in September.

The sound effects are so crap...
Yeah, the sound effect are a bit naff. I'm still gna buy the game tho, i loved the first one :)
but the guns sound a bit like a stone being shaken in a tin...'rat, tat, tat, tat, tat, tat' etc. not very realistic in my opinion
Looks like it have Resistance : fall of man rendering gameplay.
The sound effects are much better, It's just how those videos were converted...
Watch the videos on Gametrailers in HD, The sound effects are cool, they sound like real guns
if the demo is anything to go by, i wont be touching this game with a 40 foot pole.
