Sacred 2: Fallen Angels - Image 1Atari signed a deal today with developer cdv Software Entertainment making it the exclusive North American distributor for games to be released under the cdv USA brand.  The agreement is a multi-year third-party distribution agreement.

Included in the first roster of games to be published by Atari is Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (PS3 and Xbox 360), I Heart Geeks! and My Little Baby, both for the DS. Says Tom Gross, CEO and President of cdv Software Entertainment USA,

Atari's extensive distribution network means consumers will have ready access to our exciting list of upcoming titles on console and handheld. Atari offers us the support of a leading sales and distribution partner, while our top-notch line-up that mixes hardcore and casual titles will significantly strengthen Atari's third-party distribution business.

Atari, of course, shares the sentiments, saying that they are pleased to join forces with the developer.

But apart from this news on partnership, another piece of information that will grab your attention is the announced release dates for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. According to the same press wire, the PC version of action-RPG title is on November 11, while the console versions are tagged for a February 17, 2009 release date. If you'll remember, it was originally slated for a simultaneous release with the PC version.

Mark those calendars, boys and girls! We'll be sure to keep you updated on more news and updates as they come.
