Ubisoft has announced the release windows for the Assassin's Creed II DLC that they promised a while back. While details are still scarce, at least fans of the game now have a rough schedule for when they can go back to Ezio's wonderful world of assassination.

The first DLC add-on pack, called Battle of Forli, will be out in January 2010. It'll be followed in February by the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC. You'll have to clear out some hard drive space for these two, as the only other piece of info Ubisoft revealed was that each will require at least 1GB of hard drive space to install.

Assassin's CreedII is out now for PS3 and Xbox 360.

I hope this is all new content and not the extra map included in the Gamestop copies.

Actually it is new content, look at the names, the DLC has.

THIS IS CALLED ADD ON PACKS, NOT ADD ON MAPS! theres a big difference. Add on maps were from the MAE.

Add on packs have new names to them, if these were the old maps, we would know because of the name. Just admitting.

Battle of Forli does not sound like a map pack we got from the MAE nor does Bonfire of the Vanities. These 2 are more like expansion packs, not maps.

I like how you need all 3 extra areas to get 100% completion in the game, not cool at all Ubi.

But yea this is new content, the extra special edition and preorder areas are only like 80 MB i think. Ubi said they will release the bonus areas as DLC too, so everyone can get 100% completion. What a slap in the face, I already payed the pr*cks $60 for their damn game.
