Assassin's Creed 2 creative director on game's ending: "Holy crap, I never saw it coming." |
Ó
"I'm telling you. At the end of AC2 you'll say‚ 'Holy crap, I never saw it coming," he said, adding that you'll go, "But what happens next?!" right after. Désilets says that despite answering a lot of questions revolving the plot, Assassin's Creed 2 will still leave some more room to leave us wanting more. "There will be a cliffhanger," he admitted. "It's cool to have a cliffhanger," he added.
And about the glowing writing on the wall, Désilets confirms that it has nothing to do with AC2. "It has nothing to do with Assassin's Creed II, what's written on the wall has to do with the Assassin's Creed universe, not the second one," he said.
Seeing as Assassin's Creed is a trilogy, it makes perfect sense to set the last part up.

lol I think we all kinda figured it'd be a cliffhanger by how the first one ended.

I hope that Ubisoft don't do a 'Holy crap, I never saw it coming," as in *I can't believe that they'd make yet another s**t ending, even worse than the first one.

I don't give 2 s*its about playing #2.
The whole present day BS ruined it. Note to ubisoft: if you want to sell a sequel, people need to care somewhat about the damn storyline.

BTW I don't think Ubi needs your advice, seeing as how AC sold millions and generated tens of thousands of topics on the net about the cliffhanger ending and story in general. AC2 will sell more because people do want to see how the story continues. Just because you don't care about the story doesn't mean no one else does lol
