Infinity Ward sure knows how to pack some intensity - this vid is damn full of suprises: from sudden explosions to feigned surrenders. I actually forgot to breathe while I was watching. Seriously.

F*****g s**t that looks amazing. However, I can't help put think, from the preview thatwe've had of the game so far, it looks less...Call of Duty like. It looks more like you would be more or a mercenary than a soldier sort of thing. Probably will still be AMAZING though :|

Before this trailer i honestly thought this game was gonna be kinda wack and not bring anything new to the COD series. Boy was i wrong, now im really excited!
When the Skibikes scene. Just before the next Ski jump starts you can see yourself shooting a pistol. And also half way through the scenes I saw "checkpoint reached" on the top right so its ingame graphics and it looks bloody great.

Game is looking pretty hot, I'm excited, can't stay objective when I can get this excited over a little bit of eye candy footage. Where are the nerds at to analyze the trailer frame by frame? I wanna know if they spy any prototype guns in there...like the FN-SCAR or XM8 (nerd).

The XM8 is the brown plastic gun that looks like the G36c isn't it? I've been watching far too many Future Weapons' on YouTube.
I've been saying for months that it would be cool to have the AA-12 automatic shotgun (YouTube that f**ker) make an appearance.
It would make the game heavily unbalanced, but as long as I'm the one swinging it around, I don't care XD

Now, to this trailer. I'm *actually* impressed by the animation. They're utilizing the hell out of mo-cap. Graphics look about the same as 4 and 5 at this stage, don't expect them to change. Eyebrow raised at snowmobile segment.
It's trying too hard to be like some Bruce Willis x Rambo crossover rather than a bunch of soldiers doing their thing. I still expect the MP to be the same, but they'll definitely launch a MP beta. And I'll be there. I will.
the XM8 is a brown, plastic gun but it's been nicknamd the fishgun among some circles because it looks rather like the Christian fish symbol
as for a gun that looks like the G36c, my guess is that it could be the H+K UMP and possibly the FN SCAR.

As for the trailer, can't wait to play the hell out of this game! So long away, even though its not, i wish it were here now, that trailer was pretty impressive, graphics do look like Cod4, hopefully a little better by the time launch is upon us, i hope they push the envelope even farther and set the bar even higher with next installment! Can't wait, fingers crossed...

It *is* a CoD game. The devs themselves said it's a direct sequel to 4 (which is why it's called Modern Warfare 2).
Portal isn't called Half-Life 2: Portal, but still takes place in the same universe and directly references events and organizations from Half-Life.
