Last week's issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu revealed the result of Tri-Ace's collaboration with Sega - a new RPG for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Now Famitsu.com has unearthed more info on the new game, and now we get to learn more about it. I'm all ears eyes.

First, the plot. Your main characters are: Zephyr, a 17-year-old Private Military Firm (PMF) mercenary; Vashyron, a 26-year-old ex-soldier, and a 19-year-old called Test Subject No. 20. It seems that Test Subject 20 escaped from a research facility located in a futuristic towering Megapolis called Bazel, which serves as an environmental purifier for the Earth. Bazel is also divided into class, where the wealthier live higher up, and the lower class suffer below.

The game will use third-person POV for controlling the characters, and random encounters seamlessly put you into semi-real-time battles, where you can switch between characters in your party.

Wait a minute:
Team of three - a merc, a slightly older gun-trotter, and a female test subject.
Towering futuristic Megapolis, divided into class
Earth is polluted as hell, and there's a need for environmental purifiers

Did Tri-Ace play too much Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter?
