Off to the movies! - Image 1Those who can't do, teach. But in the world of LittleBigPlanet, that saying takes on a form of its own: those who can't do, watch.

Actually, even those who can do still watch anyway. That's how adorable the Sackpeople are. In fact, they've earned the GT Diamond Award because of their watchability.

Thanks to your addiction to watching everything LittleBigPlanet on GameTrailers, the game video-hosting site has awarded LBP with the exclusive award after racking up over ten million video views.

EIC of GameTrailers, Shane Satterfield, has this to say about this year's winner:

Since LittleBigPlanet grabbed the spotlight at GDC 2007, our community has been eager to dive in and start living out their dreams of being game designers. With LittleBigPlanet, Sony and Media Molecule delivered a groundbreaking game that is also very entertaining, and we're happy to deliver the Diamond Award to such a deserving game.

Meanwhile, the recipients of the award, via SCEA's Scott A. Steinberg, says:

Winning the GameTrailers Diamond Award is a real honor for the whole team at SCEA and Media Molecule. We're thrilled that the GT community enjoys the creativity and innovation in the game as much as we do.

So while you're all invited to keep on watching those LBP snippets on GameTrailers, we say don't stop at just watching. Go ahead and play it for yourselves.
