Aiming big: Shadow of the Colossus getting big screen movie |
Ó
While Team ICO is still busy keeping their oh-so-secret PS3 game under wraps, looks like someone let a huge cat out of the bag by revealing that Shadow of the Colossus is in the process of getting its own feature length movie! It's none other than Sony Pictures who's reportedly behind the project, with Kevin Misher as producer (The Scorprion King).
Big things are coming for the, err, huge hulking Colossi from the PS2, but it may or may not be a good thing, depending on how you see things.
The guy who's supposed to write the movie script is Justin Marks - we saw him more recently as the scriptwriter for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
Do I hear an "uh oh"?
Well, it's still too early to say anything, really. For all we know, this project could end up in the backburner to be picked up much later by someone else.

The script..
Well, at least they have a source of material to base the movie of. But the game had little to nothing of dialog in it. I wonder how they are going to do it?
Thinking about it, I can see these people change 80% of the main actual story of the game.
