Afrika goes gold, stampeding towards US retail in October |
Ó
Now that that's out of the way, let's get on to the news. Natsume has announced that Afrika, the wildlife photography adventure for the PS3, has gone gold and entered the manufacturing stage.
Afrika puts players in the role of a photojournalist tasked with taking pictures of various animals in a lush, unexplored region of Africa. There are over 70 animals to find and over 100 missions to complete, all of which you can try out for yourself when the game hits North American retail on October 6. Here's a gameplay trailer from the Japanese version.

Comments [refresh]
I've actually been looking forward to this game for a long time now. The idea just really speaks to me.
I wonder if you can get mauled by lions if you get too close?
Now all I need is an EU release...
im sorry but the only reason why i even gave this game a second look was that i thought maybe the graphics might be outstanding considering there isnt much to do with gameplay. but now that ive seen this i think ive lost all hope in this
Your crazy. Keep you negative comments to yourself. Don't have anything good to say, pass along and don't say anything at all. I think this game looks nice, I'm getting it!
im so getting this. just the thought of taking pictures of animals in the wild is awesome
If you don't like his opinion, then that's too bad. Get yourself some webtools and make an Afrika fanpage. Then you can delete all the comments you don't like as you fancy.
Show animals getting it on. That is all.
I just hope it has a lot to offer. Maybe if it does good they will make a sequel like in another part of the world or something.
I think that this game could look a lot better, put more detail, grass, rocks, dust, but as far as i can see africa seems like a Golf course
