Achievements and Trophies unveiled for Mirror's Edge |
Ó
With just a little more than a week before Electronic Arts' new kickass heroine, Faith, takes her leap on building roofdecks, it's probably a good idea for you to know what rewards await you for keeping up with her.
Over at the official site of Mirror's Edge, a new bulletin has been posted revealing both Trophies and Achievements for this freerunning title. Looks like there are three Categories for you to choose from: Progression, Racing and Movement & Combat.
Progression and Racing will give you 15 opportunities at Trophies, most of which are concerned with completing game chapters. There are also those hidden bags that you have to find under the Progression Category. Racing, meanwhile, puts you up to the task of completing speedruns in the individual chapters below the target time, as well as attaining specific attack star ratings.
The Movement & Combat category, however, only has twelve tasks, but that's not to say they're easy. Tasks would vary from maintaining sprint speed for 30 seconds, to stringing a series of actions (successfully, of course, I assume), and completing chapters without getting shot, firing a gun, directly damaging an enemy, etc.
Well, looks like you really have to be prepared for this one, so if you wanna do good in your assignments, then better start practicing now. I suggest you download the demo so you can try out the tutorial. Controls are not that complicated, so am sure you guys will get the hang of it soon, too. Just remember, just because you can jump off rooftops doesn't mean you can fly.
To check out the full corresponding Achievement Points and Trophies, head over to their official site via the link below. Mirror's Edge is coming to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 13, 2008.
