So you're one of the last few survivors of a zombie apocalypse and you're in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by thousands of zombies. That last thing you want to do is get your ass killed - who's gonna save the world then? Err...well, if you take at the game's zombie-lypmic leaderboards, there are LOTS of others all over the world who can get the job done. Anyway, my point is, if you want to live long enough to see some zombiecidal success, you'll need to be prepared.

First of all, this little post is for players who are just starting out with Dead Nation. There have been a lot of zombie shooters, there have been a lot of top-down shooters, but this game offers its own brand of challenges and difficulty. Follow these simple steps and you'll quickly get the hang of it, and after that, I'm sure you'll be able to recommend tips and tricks of your own.

Now let's get crackin'.

#1 - You are not a Dynasty Warrior

Housemarque promised that Dead Nation will have more zombies on-screen than any other zombie game - they weren't kidding. When those things swarm you, they're not pushovers. They have strength in numbers, and hell yes, they're not afraid to use it. You, on the other hand, are not an invincible one-man army. You can take them all out, but you have to be smart in going about it.

Tread lightly, walk to each new area with precaution. Take out a few z's from a distance and try not to provoke the entire alphabet into running at you. Keep charging ahead recklessly and you'll quickly find yourself surrounded by an entire horde.
