A first look at Sega Rally Revo |
This next one will definitely make your day! What we have for you here are the first shots of the racing game Sega Rally Revo. And well, it's about time. This next installment to the highly successful Sega Rally series was actually first announced around April 2006, and some people were wondering what happened to it.
Sega Driving Studio was unable to provide any details about the game's features, but the company's representatives did mention that the game will finally careen to the PS3 this winter. They also added that while these images were not taken from an actual in-race footage, these are "indicative" of the game's look upon final release.
They have about one more year to finish the game, and given the quality of these images, we can expect that the game's going to get better. Also, it's good to note that the pictures show a lot of mud and dirt, something expected from Sega's in-game and damage engine.
For now, feast your eyes on these Sega Rally Revo images and we will update you with new info as we get it.

One thing I like is the real time deformation in the track on muddy and I imagine snowy levels, it's a nice touch and it's good to see developers using it. That's the only evident advantage of cel that i'm seeing, still not enough to make me drop the cash...and it may be very possible on 360, after they find some shortcuts...
