Word is out that the quite fabled 40GB PS3 SKUs will be released in US shores on November 2. Launching the 40GB PS3 on that date does seem to make sense: France is set to release Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 + 40GB PS3 bundle in the same month, after all.Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA) wasn't able to comment about the availability date of the new and more affordable PlayStation 3 unit, but its European counterpart SCEE are especially vocal about the newest addition to the PS3 line of consoles, with their comments about the 40GB to completely replace 60GB SKUs, and that early adopters of the PS3 console gaining an advantage over the newer converts.

Ok, let’s face it. Let me tell you something more about the middle part. If you watch western-themed horror movies like ‘28 Weeks Later (the zombie movie)’. You never think this movie is scary, you only think these kinds of movies are disgusting and horrific because the amount of blood these movies have. However, when you see eastern-themed horror movies like Grudge or the Ring, you don’t see that much blood, but you are terrified, horrified and scared because of the thrills and suspense. I mean solid monsters and zombies can’t even be matched against transparent ghost or scary little girls in white clothes.
In conclusion, the middle part of 1408 has no suspense or thrills. But, the start and ending are good, so those are what save this movie. There’s a hotel room, numbered 1408 (1408 is on the 13th floor for obvious reason; and 1 + 4 + 0 + 8 = 13, too). In the history of that ‘Dolphin Hotel’, there have been 50 something deaths in that room (Rm. 1408). Some jumped out of the window... Some killed themselves by cutting own body parts... Many were died by heart-attack or stroke... and so on.
The main protagonist (Mike) ignores the warning from the hotel manager, and then goes into that room. Once the door of the room is closed, the inhabitants (or inhabitant) have 10 minutes to go out of that room without any troubles or paranormal phenomenon (of course, the characters in the movie don’t know about this kind of information).
10 minutes passed (OMG, NOW Mike’s DEAD!!!)... The clock in the suite (Rm. 1408) is malfunctioning (sounds scary)... The clock shows ‘60:00’ and it’s counting down... Mike just thinks it’s a fake (hoax) made by the hotel’s management team (Mike you dumb fu-ck!!! Have you noticed that tissue-paper in the washroom of which shape was changed???). Anyway, Mike now starts to see some weird and scary scenes (if you at least watched the trailer of this movie, you can guess what kinds of scary scenes I’m talking about).
Here’s the main concept. The room itself is evil and possessed by evil (not a fake rumor made by the hotel’s Public Relations team). But the thing you must know is that the room can’t kill you physically; I mean the room can never touch, hit or beat you by physical means. The only thing this evil room can do is that it can make some paranormal scenes or phenomenon for the occupants to see; therefore, the resident in this room will be scared and terrified and eventually will kill themselves because they can’t stand anymore. The room showed some very sad (the death of Mike’s daughter) and horrific things to Mike; then Mike tries his best to escape from the room. He tries to talk with his wife via instant message chat, but the room recognizes (or realizes) what Mike is doing, and stops him by using sprinkler’s water.
First, Mike tries to go out of the room via the (room’s) door, but the door was as hard as a rock. Second, Mike finds a ventilation hole (vent), and he wanders around the vent and tries to go to other rooms or the main passages, but it was impossible to do so. Third, Mike tries to go to adjacent suites (neighboring rooms) via the window (he goes out of the window – he’s not jumping out... – but he realizes the devil made some tricks; Mike cannot go to other rooms by using this method).
Then the phone rings. Mike thought it is from the operator of the hotel, but it was from the devil; the devil in a female voice says this whole thing will only stop when you kill yourself, otherwise this will go on forever until you eventually die (of hunger, heart-attack, stroke or whatever). At this moment, the viewers of this movie will
