When 2 Days to Vegas (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) was first revealed, quite a number of people commented that the graphics were pretty good. If you were impressed by the graphics of the game, you might want to check out the tech demo that the developers from Steel Monkeys released.

In the 2 Days to Vegas tech demo, the developers show off some of the tricks they used to create the graphics of the game. Interestingly enough, the video only shows off about 50% of the final quality of the game and there are even more features that weren't shown in the video.

Here's a list of the technical features you can find in the tech demo video:
  • Dynamic shadows
  • Diffuse textures
  • Normal mapping
  • Gloss
  • Fresnel Reflection
  • Refraction
  • Water Effects (turbid water, sun glint, dynamic light)
  • Ambient Occlusion
  • Point Light
  • Projective spotlight
  • Mo-cap and animation blending
Now that you have a general idea of what you're going to find. Here's the 2 Days to Vegas tech demo video from Steel Monkeys. Enjoy!

Well I'm optamistic, if this game comes through it could really make a name for this company, from what that video shows we should be expecting something really speical here, lets just hope the gameplay and storyline is as good as the video.

I think that was pretty good, it bugs me how they put their 'steel monkeys' logo really obvious on EVERYTHING having to do with this game...I understand putting your logo on but make it less obvious lol
