What's big, red, Italian, and loved by both gamers and non-gamer? Car manufacturer Ferrari and 10Tacle studios have just signed a new agreement that'll allow 10Tacle to use the Ferrari label and palette for future games in their roster games.In addition to being licensed to use the Italian car manufacturer's name, 10tacle also plans to work closely with Ferrari for the further development of these said games. 10TACLE STUDIOS AG chairman Michele Pes had this to say about this recent expansion:
The expansion of our racing portfolio is an important part of our strategy for growth. Ferrari is synonymous with automotive excellence in both sports and racing cars. A license to use the Ferrari brand name and cars is the best a computer games developer in this field can acquire. We will do our very best to recreate the passionate experience of driving a Ferrari as realistically as possible.
While we're not too familiar with 10tacle's track record with racing games, readers might remember this studio as the developer behind the Elveon RPG.

10tacle's track record for racing games is the most impressive one in the bussiness at the moment. They are responsible for distributing the 3 most advanced and impressive racing games ever on the PC; GTR, GTR² and GT Legends. Nothing comes even close in terms of immersion and realism...An Xbox360 version of the GTR franchise is scheduled for release in the near future.
because ferrari only give it's liscence if they overpower their cars, or ask a LOT of money, that's why you don't ferrari in grand turismo... because a boosted subaru impreza STI could beat the ferrari! and ferrari don't want a 26 000$ car beat their 100 000$+ cars lol. I only care about the realism of car power and control, that's why I love grand turismo, and I also love collin mc rally! :D
If you like realism in car power and control, then both gran turismo and colin mcrae are very odd choices. 10tacle together withg Simbin have produced some of the most realistic Car simulation ever, miles ahead of those two (including Ferraris!). If you want realism, try GTR² or for rally try Richard Burns Rally, both a lot more realisitc than the arcadey Gran Turismo and Colin Mcrae. All 10tacle/Simbin games have shown extremely realistic depictions of ferrari cars in the past, so there is no reason to suspect they will 'overpower' ferrari cars in their games. On a side note; the next version of Gran Turismo ( GT HD for PS3) WILL have ferrari's in the game!
