The reported first day sales stats of Koei's and Namco Bandai's game Gundam Musou has reached epic proportions. It sold over 100,000 copies from its 170,000-180,000 first day shipment. This game has beat the first week game sales of any other title on the PS3. It also puts Gundam Musou at number three on the charts of bestselling games, only being eclipsed by Gundam: Target Sight and Ridge Racer 7.While this may not seem impressive, you have to realize that it jumped to this spot on its first week. (If this is the case, it seems that most people purchased it separately, not in a PS3 bundle. Hmmmm...)
Is this a sign that a sequel is on the horizon? Or better yet, that an international release will be coming? Only time will tell.
