Because we here at QJ just can't keep ourselves from thinking of new ways to give you your daily dose of gaming news and updates, we've just cooked up a new way to get all the QJ goodness that you want - faster and easier. It's the QJ.NET Toolbar, packed with all the features and tools to make your Quick Jumps even quicker. Here's what she does:

Stay connected with us! - Image 1

Quick Link Drop-down Menu - With just a click, the drop-down will give you easy access to all of QJ.NET's blogs, giving you the best our site has to offer. You don't need to crowd your browser with the bookmarks anymore, it's all in one handy menu.

Google-Powered Search - Like with other toolbars, ours is equipped with Google-Powered search, where you can search our site and the rest of the web. The difference? It's in the QJ Toolbar - and that sets you apart from everyone else who uses the same old toolbars.

QJ Announcements - With this feature, you won't miss out if something comes up while you're checking out your other favorite sites. You'll get alerts and quick links to our announcements, keeping you updated wherever in the web you may be.

News Ticker - Get the latest headlines on the QJ front page right into your very own little news bar on your browser. Apart from being useful, it just looks awesome.

Music Player - Listen to your favorite music without opening another app! With the QJ.NET Toolbar's Music Player, you have access to online music streaming, your local stations, and even add more sites into your playlist.

QJ Chat - Instead of just running into each other at the forums or at the comments section of an article, QJ Chat will let you check up on your online buddies, talk about the news and maybe settle your debates in a flame-free chat-up with our toolbar.

eMail Notifier - Who says you have to stay online to remain updated? Our email notifier will send news and updates straight to your inbox. Of course, you can always disable the option if you go to the site everyday anyway.

Browser Tools - Every good browser has the usual tools - and our cool new toolbar won't fall short on that one. You can still manage you cookies and browsing history using our user-friendly browser tools.

Updater - There's more to come, so you better keep an eye out for our updates. This toolbar may update without the hassle of having to reinstall.

It's true that the best thing in life are for FREE, and that includes this one! It also downloads and installs in seconds! So what're you still reading this babble for? Hit the download button, install it into your browser, and have QJ in your day, everyday!

How do I make it notify me only about ps3 news?

by GUNBEHINDTHESUN - 2009-04-05 03:26
» Sorry but I'll pass too.

I do like this site as it is one of my favorites, but I don't like toolbars for a lot of the reasons previously mentioned. The screen space is my biggest complaint. I hate that they are in the way I want to check out a video and it cuts off part of the image. I come on qj.net frequently anyway and enjoy using the search feature there when using your site.

» Very nice toolbar

Wow, this is a really nice tool bar, probably the best and most feature rich I\'ve used so far, thanks QJ!

Justingraziano - There\'s no ads or anything, it\'s just a toolbar with cool stuff to use on it. That News ticker owns.

Does it work on Toshes?

by iplaygames - 2009-04-05 04:47
» huh...?

What's a Toshes?

by Ranger Wolf - 2009-04-05 04:59
» No ads but..

with the Google search function, they will track all the sites you visit. just like Google's own toolbar and same with yahoo. for the amount it can slow down a computer, I'd rather just visit the site normally

It says it works with Firefox and IE so I guess if you use either of those on your Mac it should work fine.

by iplaygames - 2009-04-05 05:23
» How would you know?

Doesn't slow me down one bit. How exactly do you know this about the QJ tool bar? Are you just making assumptions?

opera doenst support it

..idiots use Opera

by celebbb - 2009-04-05 10:48
» @iplaygames

as a generalization, all toolbars track your useage. most sites do to. google is no exception. they do this through "web bugs." web bugs slow down your loading significantly. now that ive said this, i must also add, there are (min) 7 web bugs on this page right now. (thats the count without any of the googleadsense ads)

That nice an' all, but QJ please remove that stupid toolbar download pop up.

by iplaygames - 2009-04-05 18:18
» dumb...

Why on earth would they remove it when all you have to do is either download and install the bar or click on don't show me this again. Kind of a dumb request, sorry.

by m3rox - 2009-04-05 18:51
» iplaygames

Why don't you quit being qj's *****, m'kay?

They shouldn't have that popup on their site, a simple banner or posting would suffice.

by Aces In The Palm - 2009-04-05 20:53
» ACTUALLY

i clicked dont show again and it keeps coming up

by BIH - 2009-04-05 21:32
» @ iplaygames

Because i don't want it and the "click don't show me again" doesn't work. Dumb reply :)

@ Aces in the Palm - What browser do you use? I've tried both FF and IE and I don't have that problem at all

@ m3rox - Go away plox, you seem like the type to ***** out every little thing. Some of us members appreciate the new toobar and appreciate the fact that QJ is adding stuff. Get over yourself already.

I saw what you posted originally, I don't blame them for deleting it, you were trying to tell people not to use it and what you said was a bunch of BS. You try to give their campaign negative publicity and you expect them to just sit there and take it? Especially when it's bullcrap?

I think the tin foil just fell off of one of your windows, better go fix it before the sun gives you cancer....

by yourmistakes - 2009-04-06 02:56
» you'll hate me for saying it

it seems like every website i visit has their own custom toolbar. some are pretty useful, and others are so useful it's annoying.(i don't need a toolbar with internet radio, stock qoutes and a cd burner in it) qj is already my home page, so i don't miss anything. as a side not i use google chrome and the last thing i want is to take away some of my wide open page display. just my opinion, and i'll probably get down voted by all of the complete tools that come here. (i'm looking at you melty and poopoopilot)

by GUNBEHINDTHESUN - 2009-04-06 04:50
» Right now I'm on my PS3, but...

....maybe I'll check it out when I go on my PC. One thing I need to know, if it's easy to uninstall if I don't like it.

by iplaygames - 2009-04-06 06:37
» ..

Ya, I uninstalled it on IE to test the banner thing and it was quick and easy.

by Mikagami - 2009-04-06 09:04
» Obviously

iplaygames is a staff alternate account. Although, the toolbar does seem quite revolutionary. I mean, I can now SEARCH GOOGLE from a toolbar? Fantastic!

by m3rox - 2009-04-06 09:20
» haha yeah

because that's not something we've already been able to do.

by Mentality - 2009-04-06 09:52
» >>

No actually I think you will find it was a personal observation and opinion, and in actual fact wasn't "BS" or in any way an attempt to slander QJ's campaign.

They deleted it because they knew it would make people wisernot to download it, because toolbars are infact just a waste if space in any brower and just arnt necassary - that is not my opinion, it is fact which is why most distrubuters try to hide them in installation packages, where people usually just install really quick and miss the page that gives them the option. Otherwise many people just wouldnt bother - also why are they free? because they are advertising tools and monitor the pages that you browse and create pop-ups related to those sites genre!

You are an idiot!

by iplaygames - 2009-04-06 10:32
» lol..

Staff alternate because I like the toolbar... Makes perfect sense. Can't like something about a website without being on it's staff. Regular inspector Gadget aren't you? lawl

still comes up

Just installed it, actually not a bad toolbar. I expected it to be filled with spyware/adware like this site but surprisingly it wasnt, and it has that lice little area which says the news, so I dont have to keep coming here and checking! Thanks! I would like to see a version for Mac OS X's Safari now though. I can only use it on my Vista PC since I dont use FireFox and it only works on FireFox on the Mac.
