Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D wasn't the only Resident Evil game Capcom showed off at Nintendo World 2011. Resident Evil: Revelations also took to the stage, with assistant producer Tsukasa Takenaka taking care of the demo duties.

Revelations takes the series back to its roots: scaring the hell out of players. There's a focus on puzzle solving and exploration although most of the emphasis has been put on horror. In contrast to the multiplayer-centric Mercenaries 3D, Revelations is a single-player affair starring Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.
