It's also said that while Warren Spector did not actually come up with the idea himself, he was closely supervising it for the 3DS project. The thing is, although there's some major restructuring going on over at Disney Interactive Studios, there really weren't any mention of the Epic Mickey 3DS getting canned.

Heck, there wasn't even any word of Epic Mickey going to 3DS until now! So if you're the hopeful kind, you can probably hold on to that thought and look forward to an Epic Mickey with wicked puzzle games on the 3DS. Then again, it would be probably safer if you didn't so much.

You know I read this story about Disney workers, and the big layoff and oh well shucks looks like we should all feel guilty because their sales sucked on the Wii (Go Figure...) and to be honest, It was their own fault. They chose not to develop it for the consoles that are known to being in the money. I would have bought it, had they made it for 360. And maybe we would have seen better days with Disney interactive. But bad decisions lead to bad consequences.

if they would bring back their power play label(using basic controls/hardcore gamer gameplay) for their games on all platforms then it might survive

The Wii has a much larger install base and has a much larger casual/kid base. They made the right call on the Wii.

sounds similar to spm for wii whoch could be a great game for 3ds
