A day ago, fellow blogger Sally B. broke the news that Microsoft was making plans to create a DS version of Rare Limited's Viva Pinata game, originally on the Xbox 360. The news was announced over at the the recently concluded Comic-Con 2007 event over in San Francisco.

Now, in case you're wondering how the exact announcement looked, we've managed to pick up a video covering this said event. This vid should uncover a few more details on how the game is expected to look when it makes its jump to the handheld. Just be sure to watch it with a decent set of earphones - the sound is a tad fuzzy. That's all for the moment. Check back when we pick up for info in this game, which looks to become Animal Crossing's contender

I was the one lucky enough to break the news of Viva Pinata for the DS to Kotuku.com and I took the video that is linked above. Visit my site at http://johnpalmer2007.googlepages.com for more information. Great news that Viva is coming to the DS! By the way, Comicon is in San Diego.
