Video: Dragon Ball DS may rival The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass |
Ó
Everything in the game is rendered in 3D, and we even dare think that if only the Youtube video wasn't...well, grainy (as most Youtube videos are), the graphics would come off as incredibly crisp. Controlling the main character, Son Goku, is also comparable to how Link moved about in the Phantom Hourglass, by dragging the stylus across the screen.
Some combat mechanics are also stylus-driven, such as extending Goku's extending staff by dragging the stylus towards the general direction of his enemies, and you can even swing the elongated staff around to sweep baddies off their feet (in the wrong way). Dragon Ball DS is also filled with puzzles, and it looks like Bulma is available as a playable character.
In any case, Dragon Ball DS is certainly shaping up to be a winner. More updates as they come along!
