Developer sephiroth_ff7 has decided to go old-school with the latest release of Cube Breakout v3.6, a throwback of the classic Breakout game along with its 3D variants. While the game's best features include the 3D and 4D game modes, the newest version includes the classic mode similar to Atari's original release.

If you're tired of straining your brain with the three-dimensional modes, then you'll enjoy the laid back atmosphere this nostalgic game mode has to offer. You can check out the game through the download link we've provided below. Make sure to copy the appropriate version to your Nintendo DS' storage device and let 'er rip.

Update: Homebrew developer sephiroth_ff7 has updated the game, Cube Breakout, bringing it up to version 3.7. The dev tells us that this is a bugfix release. Enjoy playing the game!
