After another short lull in the DS homebrew community scene, developer BassAceGold is back with a new version of the pixel art application UAPaint. This most recent build introduces several bug fixes, as well as a unique, new shortcut feature designed to make the program a lot easier and more fun to use.

For those of you who've already gotten their copy of Guitar Hero: On Tour and its specialized controller, you might be pleasantly surprised to find out that UAPaint V 1.02 actually supports the new peripheral. You can check out the changelog below and see the different tools tied in to the GH controller's different buttons.

Version 1.02
  • Added Guitar Hero Buttons as  tool shortcuts - Blue = Pen, Yellow = bucket, Red = color picker, Green = Line tool
  • Fixed another grid bug
For more detailed information regarding UAPaint and its different features, please make sure to read the documentation included in the file bundle. Anyway, we hope you enjoy the latest build of this versatile graphics tool for the DS.
