Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 confirmed for U.S. release with screens, trailer

Long after hearing about Derek Stiles' reincarnation on the Nintendo DS without Atlus confirming any North American release, it is now official that Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 is shipping west on July 1. Like what developers revealed about the much awaited sequel for its Japanese version, Stiles and his assistant nurse Angie Thompson are back to face the GUILT aftermath.

Through press wire, we've been reassured that new difficulty modes and operations are in store. To help newcomers pick up their scalpels for the first time, Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 will feature an easy mode and clearer instructions on how to use tools. If you really have to see it to believe it, screenshots and the game's debut trailer are below.
