An agreement for the North American and European distribution of the Tom and Jerry Tales videogame for Nintendo DS and the Game Boy Advance system has been signed by Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

In Tom and Jerry Tales, players will take on the role of Jerry and will have to rely on their skills to outrun and outsmart Tom the cat. This game will follow the antics of the original Tom and Jerry story but will feature new and original art styles. For each level, the player's character Jerry will have to avoid booby traps set by his cat enemy. Expect the obstacles in each level to become more difficult as you level up.

Tom and Jerry Tales is expected to launch in the fall of 2006.
