Tingle is a Nintendo character first introduced in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. As a 35-year-old bachelor who loves wearing green full-body tights, he's -- to put it mildly -- weird. It's like people either hate him or love him. No middle ground. He's also starring in two new games.

The first one is called Color Changing Tingle's Love Balloon Trip, a sequel to the 2006 DS title Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Where the first game carried a "money" theme, the sequel's theme will be "woman".

The second Tingle game is a DSiWare title called Too Much Tingle Pack. This one is a collection of "mini tools" and includes a calculator, a timer, a fortune telling game, and a Tingle dancer, among other things.

While the full DS game doesn't seem to have a release date yet, the DSiWare title is already available on the Japanese DSiWare service for 500 DS Points.

» The first game....

Yeah, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland was extremely annoying. You had to barter on EVERYTHING. Beat a monster, barter on your reward. Bartered too high? You get NOTHING! Bartered too low? You get NOTHING! Try to buy something. Bartered too high? WE TAKE YOUR MONEY! Barter too low? WE TAKE YOUR MONEY!

And the whole game revolves around rupees, so if you don't barter like exactly right, you never have enough rupees to proceed. I kept trying to figure out the best amounts, turning the game off and repeating, but that got old in about 5 minutes so I pulled a FAQ and just used that to know what to put for everything.
