I guess I appreciate the DSi design so much more but I do like the addition of what looks like an analog stick.

I support all good products and Nintendo has TONS of them.
I think you have me confused with someone else.

I mean, ALL the people that touched early pre-production models said that? No. There were no actual playable games to show off, so I doubt ALL those who tried it can say how well the 3d effect works.

Sony has move,
I was waiting for nintendo to pull out a contender.
as for battery life, I once had a 16 hour stint on my original Ds playing Aria of Sorrow, with it being asleep for 10 hours overnight inbetween (I'd just got it that weekend lol). If the 3ds can handle just half that I'd be happy.

I mean from what i keep hearing is that the Touch screen DOES NOT support 3D it's only the top screen.

Also remember that no company releases its top technology. They all have back up so they can suck money from their lower end stuff before upgrading. Apple seems to be the king of minor updates -_-
So, I would speculate that the system will get redefined about 3 years after its release. Also I would expect cell phones to start incorporating some of this stuff in the next couple years following the release.
It's all market battle where we get the goods little by little =D
